Autentici – Our Story

Autentici began with a simple truth: in Italy, beauty isn’t something you buy it’s something you live.

Our founder, Massimo, grew up surrounded by the scent of fresh espresso, the warmth of family kitchens, and the craftsmanship of small Italian botteghe, where every object carried a story. Today, he is enrolled in a UK university programme in Business & Entrepreneurship, blending his heritage with a modern entrepreneurial vision.

When he moved to the UK, he realised something was missing.

People loved Italy  the food, the colours, the atmosphere  yet what they found in shops didn’t feel real. It was “Italian‑style,” not Italian soul.

So he decided to change that.

Autentici was created to bring the true spirit of Italian craftsmanship into everyday life. Not mass‑produced souvenirs, but the kind of pieces you’d discover in a Florentine workshop, a family‑run studio in Puglia, or a tiny Sicilian market stall where the maker knows every detail of their craft.

But Autentici is not only Italy.

Over time, Massimo understood that true excellence has no borders. Today, Autentici curates exceptional creations from around the world, selecting each piece with the same care, authenticity, and respect for craftsmanship that define our Italian roots. Only after a meticulous selection process do these items find a place in our store.
